How to get here.

We live at 96 Hempstead Street, New London, Connecticut 06320.

We're just a short distance from Interstates 95 and 395, US Route 1, and Connecticut Routes 32 and 85.

From New York, New Haven, Old Saybrook and all towns west of us:

I-95 North to Exit 83, "Downtown New London". At the end of the exit, take a right onto Williams Street. Go straight through one stop sign and one traffic light (Broad Street). After another 1/4 mile, you will come to a traffic island on your left, with a cannon in it. Turn left onto Manwaring Street. It's a very short, steep street. Turn left at the stop sign, and immediately park. Our house is the large dark blue house on the left. It's number 94 and 96. Our door is the one on the right.

From Boston, Providence, Mystic and all towns east of us:

I-95 South to Exit 84E, "State Pier". At the end of the exit, merge onto Williams Street. The ramp leads you in the right direction. Go straight through a traffic light, a stop sign and another traffic light (Broad Street). After another 1/4 mile, you will come to a traffic island on your left, with a cannon in it. Turn left onto Manwaring Street. It's a very short, steep street. Turn left at the stop sign, and immediately park. Our house is the large dark blue house on the left. It's number 94 and 96. Our door is the one on the right.

From New Hampshire, Maine, Worcester, Norwich and all towns way up north:

I-395 South to Exit 78, "New London & Groton". This is a left exit. At the end of the connector road, continue on Route 32 South. After approximately 4 miles, you will pass Connecticut College on your right, and the Coast Guard Academy on your left. Stay in the right lane and take the first exit, "I-95 South". Turn right at the end of the ramp, then turn right again onto Williams Street. Go straight through two traffic lights, one stop sign and one traffic light. After another 1/4 mile, you will come to a traffic island on your left, with a cannon in it. Turn left onto Manwaring Street. It's a very short, steep street. Turn left at the stop sign, and immediately park. Our house is the large dark blue house on the left. It's number 94 and 96. Our door is the one on the right.

From The Ferry Docks:

If you have arrived in New London by boat you will be on Ferry Street. At the ferry company exit, go straight across train tracks and Water Street onto Governor Winthrop Boulevard. Go straight through 3 traffic lights. The road makes a steep uphill right hand turn and becomes Broad Street. Turn left at the next traffic light onto Hempstead Street. Our house is the large dark blue house on the right just before the stop sign. It's number 94 and 96. Our door is the one on the right.

Arriving in town by bicycle:

If you have taken the Gold Star Bridge cycle lane to New London, you'll exit onto Bailey Circle. Turn right onto Williams Street. Go straight through a traffic light, a stop sign and another traffic light (Broad Street). You'll pass Terra Cyclery on your right. After another 1/4 mile, you will come to a traffic island on your left, with a cannon in it. Turn left onto Manwaring Street. It's a very short, steep street. Turn left at the stop sign, and you'll be in front of our house. Our house is the large dark blue house on the left. It's number 94 and 96. Our door is the one on the right.
